Tips

• There is a 9-hole golf course on site, perfect if you're visiting in summer
• Rooms are comfortable, if a bit dated
• There is a lovely fireplace in the lobby, but none in the rooms
• Access plenty of state park hiking trails during the warmer months
• There is also a small game room with ping-pong and some arcade cabinets

Location

Within Echo Lake State Park, on the western edge of North Conway, this picturesque property is a secluded retreat on the outskirts of civilization. The only things nearby are the golf course and the on-site restaurant, which is a lovely spot to eat. Getting into or out of the park can be a bit of a long trip during cold weather, but the comfort is well worth it.
